MileLedger does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on servers. All records stay in your device's local storage. No accounts, no analytics on personal data, no third-party sharing.
MileLedger stores the trip records you enter — date, starting point, destination, distance, purpose, and any notes you add — plus your unit preference. This data is written only to your device's browser local storage (or app-local storage if installed as a PWA/app).
MileLedger has no accounts. You are never asked to sign up, sign in, or provide an email address, name, or any identifying information to use the app.
MileLedger performs no analytics on personal data. We do not run tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs inside the app that read or transmit your trip records or usage behavior.
We do not sell, rent, or share your trip data with any third party, because your trip data never reaches us in the first place — it is stored exclusively on your device.
The app lets you export a CSV file or a full JSON backup of your own records. These files are saved directly to your device by your browser or operating system's normal file-save mechanism; MileLedger does not transmit them anywhere on your behalf. What you do with an exported file afterward (for example, emailing it to your accountant) is entirely your choice and outside MileLedger's control.
MileLedger is a general-audience mileage record-keeping tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any user.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date. Continued use of MileLedger after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
